This company fired me after being injured on the job. Their "in house doctor" determined my injury didn't happen at work, even after co-workers who were working with me also witnessed the injury, since I can't afford a lawyer, they straight up fired me. Wish I could sue. This happened In April 2022, I still can't use my left hand for anything due to my left wrist being weak from the injury. That ks Deka.

The employees have no respect for others driving..tailgating at its finest..........everyday every night faithfully...today a black car pulled out and literally wasn't watching what he or she was doing almost collided into me had to stop in the middle of the road and then had the nerve to tailgate.....I would appreciate SOMEONE having a conversation with ALL shifts... I've even called in months ago of a crazy driver who literally tried to have me go into a gas station VERY aggressive guy of course nothing was done not even a follow up call apology, NOTHING. Always have someone recording now for my own safety. Shame

Called them about failed power sports battery (bad cell) and got the run around for a month even though was still under 1 year warranty. Waste of time and money. Rep showed no interest in helping me. Won't buy this brand in the future.

Quite possibly the worst deep cell rv batteries on the market. I have two Roadhawk Predator batteries that were manufactured 3/2020. They are completely dead and will not hold a charge. I contacted the manufacturer and was politely told "sorry there is nothing we can do for you". When I asked how long a life span I could expect out of these batteries, the representative at the manufacturer told me 3-5 years. Completely dissatisfied and I'd warn anyone reading this to stay away from these batteries.

I definitely would give this place for employment a 5 star. I have been an employee since last year I came in as a deka temp. And was offered a full time position after my 90 days as long as you do what your supposed to as in good performance good evaluations good attendance there's no issue with them hiring you full time. The pay is great I truly enjoy the building I work at and Ihave to say this is the best place I've ever worked at therefore yes they deserve a 5 star. You are also able to bid on another job within the company even if you have been there less than a year as long as it is a specialty position. They Give you.. vacation..personal ...deer days.. EE days ect.
You can also receive employee discount prices at auto stores. ..ect.. And they also give you great deals on new or 2nd batteries. If you don't like to work here then I don't know what to say because obviously they have been labelled as one of the best places in Pennsylvania ..many years in a row to work at for a reason. I am fortunate to have had a great experience so far.

East Penn may be a good employer but not so good with public relations. One of its drivers ran my wife and I off the road while driving on I75 in Florida on April 14, 2020. We emailed two messages to East Penn about the dangerous incident but never received any acknowledgment what so ever. We weren't expecting a lengthy reply, just that our message was received and that our complaint was being investigated, or something to that effect.

Before ordering, I made contact with customer care in reference to the authenticity of the Deka ETX 30LA for my Harley-Davidson FLHTK Limited that’s sold by Lowe’s via online. I had an interview I passed it, but was sent to a temp agency so I could get paid less than other employees. So no, you domt get paid alot. A 400 dollar check came out to 200 every 2 weeks after working full time thanks to the temp agency used.
