Very good Woolley cheese sandwich. You must get a coterie board! I so regret not and had major food envy.
Very disappointed they ran out of tomato soup. seems impossible if you specialize in cheese sandwiches. like specializing in pbj and running out of jelly.
Wine bar and tasting is huge plus!
Although not cheap by any means a great value. Service is friendly and polite although not exactly speedy. Very clean high quality so glad I found it. Again coterie board!!!!

Some truly great cheeses. Many are only available here but you can find some in KC. Highly recommend the Ruby. The Aux Arc is also exceptional. No bad options. The cheese board is a little overstuffed with accessories lately, but I think they're trying to make it feel like a better deal.

So cute! And delicious! The girls at the front desk were SO nice and accommodating! We have some severe food allergies and insesativities and they went above and beyond answering our questions... They even called the owner to ask about the ingredients of an in house dressing (we didn't even ask!) they marked each sheep /cow cheese so we knew which ones to avoid if needed and made sure to go over each with detail. They clearly take a lot of care and pride in their products.

If you are a cheese lover like me, you will love this hidden gem. This was my first time coming to the restaurant, so I just got "The Wooly One" which is an amazing grilled cheese. It is truly ooey-gooey! Because there is almost exclusively outdoor picnic table seating, they are dog-friendly, so take note of that if you are allergic. Also, the two dogs I saw there were on a leash close to their owners and well behaved (even with some kids playing outside) so that was nice. Who doesn't love seeing cute dogs, happy kids, and delicious food all together?

Always a delicious menu and we love the goat cheese, since my husband is DF. Plus GF bread options too!! Vox wine is equally tasty. Super amazing and friendly staff! Picnic tables outside are the best way to enjoy during busy times, but some small seating indoors as well. I'd recommend the boards with wine or any sandwich with soup for more substance.

We had a cheese and charcuterie board, a ruben, and a club sandwich. We also had three different flights of wine and ice cream. It was ok, but the quantity was not reflective of the prices. The sandwiches were simple and took 45 minutes to get. The club was slathered in mayo. I have been looking forward to visiting but I just didn't enjoy the experience as I'd hoped. Perhaps after things steady out further post-pandemic?

Very good first experience. Some wineries in the area are adult only but, I do realize this is much more than just a winery, however, 4 of us sitting in the wine area, could not carry on a normal conversation at times due to a screaming child at the table next to us and unfortunately the adults in charge did very little to address it.

Beautiful drive, beautiful location, delicious cheese. Unfortunately, some of the items that we wanted on the menu were unavailable. Seating was not very good. The staff was pretty unfriendly in all honesty. For a 52 minute drive and easily $40 for 2 really basic (yummy still) sandwiches, I expect at least some kindness. Hopefully the money can be put to good use training staff and expanding the services at the location. We, like many others were swarmed with bees to a crazy extent and there was hardly enough seating inside. I’ll probably buy the cheese at the markets it’s available at because it really is exceptional, but I likely won’t return for mediocre service and experience.

If you want to be swarmed by yellow jackets this is the place for you!
10-15 yellow jackets swarmed our charcuterie board making it literally inedible. I’d argue this is out of their control but frankly with the number of bees and yellow jackets I witnessed today they should not have opened for business today or anytime in the near future until this problem is taken care of. I’d start with not having picnic tables the colors of bright flowers which are known to attract bees and yellow jackets. Honestly this was my wife’s 30th birthday choice and giving us a refund as we waited with the children trying to not be stung was just a horrendous experience. I don’t leave many reviews but please take some responsibility and close until you have corrected your pest problem. It’s not fair to paying customers and to anyone, like us, who drove 45 minutes for a nice experience. I will not be back and will actively be telling people to stay away from green dirt farms until I hear you have taken steps to correct this.

Unfortunately your guests were not masking indoors and you had zero signs requiring masks for guests indoors. So this was not a option given I have children who cannot be vaccinated yet. I’m not sure why it says masks required on your google page when you clearly did not require masks.

I came here to celebrate my 30th birthday. We drove 45 minutes one way with 2 kids and a newborn. As soon as our food came out, yellow jackets started swarming our table. At least 10 yellow jackets were on our charcuterie. While we tried to get away from the bugs, some of our food dropped on the ground. The tables are painted yellow, blue, purple, the color of pollinating flowers, which can't help the problem They refunded our food, but what a waste of a drive and a birthday celebration.

I’ve been wanting to come to Green Dirt for a while. We had friends in town and thought we’d stop by for ice cream. Instead the meat and cheese boards sounded great and tasted the same. One in our party was allergic to lamb and they took extra precautions to make sure the meat was separate from the cheeses. The service was very good. The outdoor picnic area is a perfect place to eat snd drink. I’ll have to come back another time for ice cream.

Really love this place — great cheese and options for wine, especially after hiking at the state park. But they *really* need to call an exterminator and get their Yellowjacket problem under control. We were literally swarmed today when our food came out, and it was scary. An employee said they know about it and hadn’t found the nest yet. Could be a big liability if a customer gets stung.

At this time, more customers (white) came in...husband said, the sooner you get us the ice cream, the sooner we are out of here. She then begrudgingly gave us the ice cream!

Our first visit included in correct orders. During our second visit we waited 45 min for 2 sandwiches. We were turned away at our third visit because at 2pm they could not handle the number of orders. We were even willing to wait and twice were told without any apology that our order was not welcome and they actively refused our order. For them to be so unapologetic at turning away customers, I can't believe they really care at all about their customers. And what does it say if at 2pm, you can't handle lunch orders? 3 strikes and with such an epic strike as the last one, you're out.

Jasmine, Hayley, and June were AMAZING. They took such amazing care of us and some other customers who were here during slow hours. Extremely kind and personable, everyone's personalities really came through and we had a fun time just chatting together! It's clear that Jasmine is an excellent manager who works hard to have a fun and welcoming atmosphere in the workplace, and her coworkers really shine in that environment and help to make it a great experience for everyone coming in. They all worked hard to answer our questions while still tending to their duties and gave us lots of time and space to choose what we wanted and look around the store as it was our first time in. They even came outside to chat with us some more at our cars (again, slow day. They weren't abandoning any work but were building a relationship with customers who will definitely be returning!). I have too many great things to say about our experience here. The food and ice cream were delicious and the store has an awesome selection of specialty items. 100/10 highly recommend!

I’ve been here maybe a dozen times in the past couple years to get food, to have wine, to get ice cream. Everything is pretty good, a little more expensive, but also a little different... and that can be a nice change sometimes. Beyond that, I drive by Green Dirt Farm between town and my own place and like seeing the sheep and I like supporting a local business.

However, today I was very upset with my experience there.

I’m not into “cancel culture” and I’m happy to delete this review if it’s responded to... but I did want the management of the business to know what I experienced.

First, the person who took my order was nice in terms of serving and taking my order.... it was the side banter to me and her coworkers that really bothered me.

First, she wanted to know what I did for work... which is just small talk, but then after I told her she told me what she would have guessed I did based upon my appearance. This was only slightly awkward... but this sort of superficial judgement continued with everything she said for the next 20 minutes as she talked to her coworkers as I sat inside, the only customer.

Next she says that they need to get rid of Boulevard Wheat because not enough people ordered it and that it was a more or less pedestrian kind of beer basically like Bud Light. This in itself was that bad of a comment, and didn’t bother me that much as I sat and drank the Boulevard Wheat I just ordered...

But then her last comment is what our everything together and really bothered me. Next she says something to the following extent, “I don’t expect us to sale much of this beer because of how colorful the can it is and people around here will think it is gay and while I think the can is great, people in the area don’t like gay people”.

This really bothered me. So let me
Get this straight, first I don’t look the right way to you, then the beer I’m drinking is too low class and pedestrian for huh all to sale much of, but then your customers are too pedestrian to buy a beer in a colorful can?

My experience is that people do this sort of thing do it because it makes themselves feel better and morally superior.... but for me, it just makes me perceive her judgements as bigotry and not something I want to be around.

I love ice cream, so I was pretty excited to go....the flavors to chose from were strawberry, vanilla bean, pumpkin & chocolate..... we both picked chocolate (my 2nd love in food.) It was creamy, I think few little chunks (maybe ice) but now a wow factor???? maybe worth it if coming from historical Weston.

Jasmine, Landen, and Hailey are amazing! They made our experience special and went out of their way to do so. Highly recommend! Excellent customer service, the flights are amazing, and cheese is top notch. Throw in homemade ice cream for the cherry on top! Can’t wait to go back.

Fantastic food and wine. We would have preferred inside dining but only because of the swarming yellow jackets. They not only kept landing on the table and glasses but tried to take the wine right out of my mouth with antennae up my nose.

Perfect place to stop for lunch, beverages or a sweet treat! All ice cream is made in house and tastes just like Grandma used to make! Lunch options are great and there is plenty of outdoor seating to enjoy the beautiful view.

Yesterday was my first time at Green Dirt Farms Creamery and I had THE BEST experience!! All thanks to the A-Team - Gracie, Landon, June, Eli, and Jasmine! If you haven’t been, YOU NEED TO!!! Everything on their menu - beer, wine, cheese, crackers... everything is so delicious. I will definitely be going back, an amazing experience. I would give more stars if I could!

We ordered a curbside pick up order. I ordered a their grilled cheese and added bacon. We also ordered 2 additional sandwiches. When we got to our picnic spot, I was disappointed to find their was no bacon on it. This would normally be ok but I paid $2 for bacon. Ultimately, I paid $10 for a plain grilled cheese. The other 5-6 times we’ve been here, we’ve always gotten chips with our orders. We didn’t get chips this time. We usually love this place but it has been inconsistent lately.

Really quaint, very creamy homemade ice cream with other original and complex adult flavors. Kids enjoyed it to. As a farm stand they had a variety of products and I took home some very good salami as well. Outdoor dining was relaxing.

Such a great little place with wonderful food but the service wasn't the best.... we were very excited to visit as we live in New Mexico and were recommend to visit the cafe by locals. We ordered a couple of sandwiches and
the $30 cheese/charcuterie board. We were seated outside and only received our charcuterie board. After waiting about 30 mins we inquired about the rest of our food, to then only received our sandwiches. After waiting again for our cheese board we decided to inquire about it again only to be told they had already sent it out. One employee in the back was quite frustrated with us saying we already got our cheeses. (We didn't) Thankfully, the other employees were understanding and we finally received our cheese board to go and a free extra ice cream. We also bought quite a bit of meat and cheeses to take back home with us. We spent about $300 in total. Again, the food was quite amazing but we are reluctant to come back again in the future since the service was so lacking.

Great day trip or date spot! Delicious paninis and the fresh cheese board made my partner a cheese lover! It's a good amount of food for the price too.
Lovely lawn and picnic seating area outside with ample shade. Will definitely be back!

Awesome day trip or date spot! Grabbed a fresh cheese board, some sandwiches and a bottle of wine and enjoyed a lovely afternoon on their picnic tables. Everything was super delicious and reasonably priced. Will definitely visit again :)
Pro tip: go during the week instead of weekend when Weston is less tourist packed, and leave some time before 5 or 6 to explore the rest of the town shops.

Had the cheese plate and it was awesome. Really great wine selection (the cheese plate I ordered came with 3 small wine pairings, though you could choose beer pairings, and dry or semi-sweet wine). I liked the fresh goat cheese spread the best. Bought some garlic peppercorn variety to take home. Incredible ice cream as well! It's a really cute little place. Can't wait to go back and try a sandwich.

Visited 11/14/2019. Had a charcuterie board with wine tasting. Sabrina provided nice selections for the wine.

Overall experience was nice. Cheese was quite tasty. Dirty lover and Ruby were my favorites.

Wasn't greeted but who care when the food and wine is good!

First, the quality of food and care of the farm was fantastic. The tour was nice, and samples with the tour made it very well rounded. I do have one one critique. We sat down to have a sandwich. Keeping in mind it is a small menu and counter service only. This is fine, actually perfect. About 20 minutes after ordering a sandwich we were still empty handed. About 30 minutes my husband asked if they had our order. He was told it would be another 15 to 20 minutes. He was so frustrated with this he asked for a refund. I likely will not be able to get him back because of this. I think if we had been told to expect 45 to 60 minutes for a sandwich we could have been prepared. I have just never had a 45 to 60 minute counter experience before.
All of this being said, if you go in to have a meal, I would suggest a nice relaxed schedule and prepare for a little wait so that if it takes an hour, it's no problem. I do not say any of this to discourage anyone, but to just prepare them.

Green Dirt is a gorgeous creamery and farm! They have a great variety of sheep's cheeses and menu items that range from sandwiches to cheese and charcuterie boards. Ice cream and Terra Vox wine is available in their shop with a variety of local food and non-food items. They pasture their sheep in a way that is eco conscious, and the sheep have plenty of green space to graze because they rotate pasture sections. Go for for a tour and stay for lunch, Green Dirt Farm is such a treat to visit!

Tour was good, and we loved the cheese tasting. We were there with a group of FFA kiddos, so there was a LOT of technical detail, but we knew we were tagging along already, and we are nerds, so it was fun. Cheese was amazing! Wish I had have planned better because we could have had lunch at the cafe first--menu sounded amazing! Oh well... next time!

I came here with my husband, brother and nephew. We got a cheese board, beer flight and sweet wine flight. Everything was delicious! We ate all the cheese and I loved the sweet wines while my husband loved the beer. The only thing I wasn't a fan of was I wish we could have picked the beer and wine we tried. (Maybe we could have, but I wasn't asked) the space inside is fairly small; I wouldn't recommend groups bigger than 5-6 unless it's good weather for sitting outside. Overall fun experience!

The food was so good! We raved about it all the way home which was over an hour. We go to Nebraska on I 29 and will be adding in this restaurant as a stop along the way. They have a sandwich called ruby something. It's cheese, bacon and jam. It was mouthwatering. I would have never put those items together myself, but they melded together so wonderfully. Love this place!

This place was so much fun! My dear sister brought us here for lunch and we had some great food. We had a party of three adults and three kiddos. While the inside is pretty small, on a Friday around 2p it wasn’t busy and we had no time finding a table. There were more tables out on the patio, which might have been a better pick considering the children. The inside is also part grocery and has a few shelves that are absolutely packed with products that are way too tempting for the little ones.

We shared a meat and cheese plate and a grilled cheese. Both were fantastic! The cheese plate was completely customizable, so you can put together whatever suits your groups needs. The grilled cheese was a great choice for the kids. But this sandwich was anything but ordinary! Adults will love them too because of the incredible quality of ingredients.

This place also sells wines and offers tastings. But dry wines only! Nothing sweet.
