This trailer has been a huge disappointment. After 5 months of moderate use well below listed max load capacity several structural contact points have been broken, the gate mesh has come lose, and the finish is next to nothing on the fenders and is showing bare metal. The tires are very poor quality and are already below 75%. All in all this trailer has been a big disappointment and will not last, I wouldn’t recommend.
I purchased a 14000 pound 21 ft tilt trailer aprox 11 months ago to haul a 11000 pound man lift. The frame supports have bent and they say that l over loaded it and the warranty is only good for 6 months

Needed a trailer that would haul a recent addition to the family, the Retco trailer I ended up going with not only exceeds expectations on a smooth ride but delivers ample stopping force when called upon via my brake controller, from the tongue to the gate it feels rock solid and for the price nothing I could find even compared, with my price point I was originally in the ballpark of a single axle 14’ UTV trailer with just lights and no brakes, for less than that setup costs I was able to get a 16’ Dual axle Retco with an assisted gate, spare tire and brakes… if you’ve found your way to this page and are reading reviews you’re already where you need to be, do it!

Love my 20+2 car/equipment trailer...only thing I would change is more lights and move spare tire carrier up higher. possibly engineer a winch mount on the trailer to simplify the addition of a winch .

They were very knowledgeable and helpful with my first trailer purchase. They helped hook up the electric since my Jeep had a 4 way and the hook up is a 6 way. They're trailers are beautiful, in great shape and so much more affordable than the Chicagoland area

I drove 250 miles to buy a trailer from them because of their competitive prices and being able to custom order one how I wanted it. They buil a very nice trailer for the money. I did have a problem with the back gate not folding out. It was a bent hinge. I had to replace all 3 hinges ON A NEW TRAILER. When I called and asked them to cover it, they said they could not do that. They said they could have fixed it, but I was not going to drive 250 back to have the hinges fixed. I am happy with the trailer, I just wish I didnt have to fix the hinges on it though and had to eat the cost.
