Got my 16 ft utility trailer in 2003 ,it still looks good. But I'm selling it to a friend as I'm 73 now and don't need it anymore. Thanks for the memories.

I bought a heartland trailer back in 2018 and it is the best utility trailer I have ever had. Brilliant engineering, quality, and craftsmanship. I decided to buy another in 2021 and it's complete trash. I think they are going out of business. They won't return my calls or try to work with me. The trailer is newly designed to not accept any lift gate assist on the market. To have a gate assist, you'll have to have the trailer completely refabricated. So sad this company doesn't care anymore. Save some time and grief and go with another brand that actually cares.

I'm sooooo glad I didn't buy a trailer from here, I ordered a 6.4x14 dovetail 3 weeks ago and it shows up with a top-rail that I specifically asked for it to be a formed metal cap (I hate angle iron) and the woman answering the phone (Just) made every mistake in the book. She ASSumed I still bought the trailer and she didn't care I was unhappy about it....and it threw her for a loop when I told her I left it there. I don't buy anything if I'm not happy with it, I was gonna give them a second chance to get me a trailer but that's off the table now. I see why they don't have hardly any sellers in the south...we don't buy that kind of garbage here.

Bought a car trailer from a reseller. Didnt make it home 100 miles before both lights failed and welds holding on fenders were broken. Ok sucked it up. A year later of little use and the holder for ramps fell off almost causing a accident. When I took to get th as t fixed. The repair shop showed my 3 areas where the welds are cracked. I sold a Old Imperial trailer to buy this and what a waste. I cut my losses and just sold this junk.

I bought a 14 foot trailer with side and rear gates. The within 3 months all the gate latches broke. Within a year the steel at the welds that the latches where attached to broke. The hinges for the gates broke off. I only haul a 600lb mower on this trailer and now that its 3 years old the tongue now has a crack in it ive called them to complain the dealer where i bought it could care less.Heartland couldnt care less. Ive had issues with this trailer since day one. They build them as cheap as they can and wont stand behind their product. Do yourself a favor and use a different builder.

Awesome trailers at a great price. Powder coated paint is a lot better than other manufacturers that just slap some paint and call it good then start rusting a few months later! Highly recommend heartland trailers!

DO NOT BUY from Heartland. I've had my trailer for 1 month and both latches on the gate are already broken. They WILL NOT cover it under warranty. They told me something rolled back and hit the gate. This is impossible since it is law to comply with DOT commercial vehicle inspections and everything must stay strapped down. The latches are a bad design. Save your money and buy a Gatormade trailer or Surtrac. I repeat DO NOT BUY. I am a business owner and customer satifaction is always #1. These people are very rude.

I bought a 22foot trailer here had a small issue with bad brakes took it to them and they gladly swapped the entire axle for a new one has been a very solid trailer and very good price and everyone complaints the trailer and asks where I bought it

wish I would have kept looking.I ordered a 24' 1400lb with extras.I ended up with the trailer and no extras that I paid for. The weld on the jack looks like the janitor did it.I would not advise ordering trailer, inspect on lot then buy. more important, spend the extra $ and buy a quality trailer elsewhere.

This has to be the sorryiest trailer manufacturer in MO.
Bought a trailer from ABS Investment in Cuba Mo and ordered a trailer. 16 ft with one brake axle and ramps and ramp storage area under the trailer. Asked to have it painted gray.

What I got:
16 foot trailer half painted gray (black spray and red all over) with no ramps and no ramp holder under the trailer. Bad tires and had to drive back 100 pluse miles to trade one of. Seems like more are under the trailer cause it sure does not ride like a traile of that size. Brakes may not work either.
Biggest problem however is the trailer wiring system. There are shorts all over and the brake light and left turn signal does not work on it. Total wiring system has so many color codes of that I do not know where to start but to order a full new wiring for it and start over.
