People talked about each other more than they did their actual jobs. Girls there are seriously just there to talk about employees.

Really interesting place to work. They work on a lot military and aerospace parts. It's cool to see them and interact with them.

Thats as far as that goes.

I was a temp here through Forge, for about 2 weeks. These people did not know what to do with me most of the time. Nearly every day they moved me from dept to dept, which I didnt mind at first. However, it rapidly devolved into each dept supervisor not knowing if I should be there that day and to ask their boss. Over and over and over in every dept I was told to go. It gave off the vibe of, "we dont know what we're doing and we're also disorganized". I was asked to do and learn 5 different jobs, each unique from the others without basically any of being preplanned. Also only 2 of those new jobs were things adequately explained to me. The other 3 Id do what I was told, unknowingly mess something up and people would be mad at me for not being a mindreader. Unprofessional.

About half of the people I worked with here were also passive aggressive. The culture is somewhat toxic here. Especially compared to my last job, where there was a work environment of respect, understanding and even comradery. Many people were outright rude to me here despite me being a professional worker with a good attitude always. I mind my business and stay focused on the job. Some people just dont like you sometimes, and at this workplace, its noticeably higher than some other facilities.

About 1 week and a half into it, more temps are arriving like me. Didnt pay any mind to it. Next thing I know, I punch in, and am then told by some woman that Forge should have called me yesterday. I ask why. She says its because my assignment is over.

"May I ask why?"

"Well, our workload has greatly decreased. Also your workspeed has decreased."

That's all this woman said.

Heres the kicker: not ONCE was I told after being taught one of 5 different jobs, "You have to work kind of fast at this job/task." Or "Youre working a bit too slow." Or ANY variation of the two. Not once, I swear on my life not once did I even those words in that context. I had been under the impression my workspeed was fine because, no one told me it wasn't? The question becomes how do they expect anyone to learn 5 different jobs, do a good consistent job, go fast, and not ever be properly explained those things? I truly thought I was working as fast as everyone else, and no one contradicted that and now I'm penalized for it.

Truth is, I wonder if someone brought in more hirees, the workload went down, and they decided to boot me (I dont know if anyone else got it the same time as me). I'm quite alright with that possibility. Only difference is, I feel like they couldnt just tell me that, they had to throw me under the bus by making up that "working too slow" lie. Probably to appear like a good client to Forge Staffing and Im just the sacrificial lamb to cover their image. It just feels like they kicked me to the curb, and didnt have the balls to keep it real.

Now I look like a slow worker on paper to Forge, despite this being the 7th job of my life and it's the first time I've EVER been fired, and first time being told it's because I'm slow. It makes me view them as a callous, toxic and negative organization that sees nothing wrong with treating good people like hated filth. The type to use you, kick you into the trash and then tell the neighborhood it was for a reason that wasnt true, or they at leadt didn't have the balls to tell you about. I havent ever been treated so unfairly at a work place before.

Anyone happens to ask me about Imagineering, I'll be sure to give them the whole scoop.
