Randy was great and very knowledgeable about getting us the boat that fit us best. Casey made the application process fast and smooth. Casey was also very knowledgeable and helped us with any questions we had. We decided to have someone give us a demo of our new boat on the water which came with the deal. Brian came and really did a great job of showing us everything we needed to know about our new Hurricane boat. With his demo we feel way more confident and comfortable taking the boat out. The windward boat team was great all the way around and I would highly recommend them to anyone.

I have Hurricane Sundeck that I’ve been routinely getting serviced by a third party because I always thought I would be saving money and going to the dealer would be too pricey. I recently had issues with my engine not starting, throttle issues and some other water issues and I took the leap and brought it to Windward Boats. I spoke to Jeff, who was extremely helpful and scheduled my appointment. When I went in, I met Greg, who was very knowledgeable and personable. They were able to diagnose the problem within a few hours and found several issues. I was anticipating a hefty bill but it wasn’t too bad. The next day I picked up the boat and Greg went above and beyond to explain to me what they did and he even showed me what I could do in the future to help maintain my engine. Because of the excellent customer service, I will be coming back to Windward Boat for all my service needs. Mahalo!!!!

Came in to purchase a hobie kayak. Stan is the man when it comes to Hobie and was friendly and knowledgeable. I deducted the one star because when I got home and took off the bubblewrap, I saw that a chunk of plastic was missing off of the rudder. I’ll also say it was my choice to leave the bubble wrap on the ends of the kayak to protect it while I get it stored at my home. Windward boats kept the kayak wrapped in storage so they couldn’t have seen it, so it’s more of a dig on Hobie for shipping over a broken product. Stan contacted Hobie immediately and will get the kayak fixed, but it’s another couple trips to Kailua to get something that should have been brand new, fixed. 5 stars for Stan but not Hobie.

I figured it would be a major fix d/t oil leaks on both engines. I was kept informed of the issues and challenges as they worked on both engines.

As updated, I knew it would be a while for the repair. I’m glad they were able to work and repair both engines.

Came in on a Saturday to inquire about a jet ski trailer. Thomas was at the counter and offered a few trailers, told us the prices and specs. They had a shipment coming within 2 weeks and we put a deposit on one of them.

After two weeks, I called Windward Boats to follow up on the trailers ETA. I was told the container was being unloaded and I should receive a call next week. Another week goes by and my other half called twice on a Saturday morning , no answer. Surprisingly he got a call back from Windward Boats! After some research, we were actually looking for a customizable boat trailer. Thomas said it was in stock and he’d have it ready within the hour. My deposit was used towards this other trailer and Thomas got us checked out! We back our truck into the gate and a worker loaded the trailer parts.

We decided to put together the trailer ourselves, to save a couple hundred dollars. It took an afternoon to complete, but it wasn’t because we were missing some hardware for the bunks.

Overall, our experience with Windward Boats was great! Thanks Thomas!

I could not be happier with the service I received from windward boats. The communication was constant and they were so attentive to my needs. I will recommend joe and windward boats to anyone looking for a boat. Ryan also gave me a full day orientation on the water as I’m a first time boat owner. He was super knowledgeable and courteous even with my kids throwing a couple tantrums.

Took my boat for service. They trashed it. I had to pay for a detail after they had it. Repair was done, but nothing was put back together. They didn’t clean their mess, left it out in the elements left my cabin open, looks like someone was sleeping in my boat. White interior was trashed. I’ll never return.

What a great experience.

At first I was very scared to take my boat there because I though being a dealership the price would be out of control. I had hoped that taking it there would help me because they would know boats well & be able to diagnose the issue with their knowledge.

They did exactly what I had hoped for. I already had some parts on the way, though their expertise was able to diagnose our very difficult issue very quickly.

Knowledgeable staff, caring & fair in all their dealings.

Great company!

Had a good initial experience with Windward Boats. Jason was nice and helpful and we ended up purchasing a new 30’ Sweetwater pontoon boat back in December and added a depth finder. There was a tear in one of the seats that they said they would replace “no problem” (we thought a repair would be fine but were happy with the seat replacement). They also installed the depth reader directly below the ladder which we thought was odd since there were two way better places to mount it. We pointed this out and they told us they could easily move it when we get our seat replaced, even though sooner would’ve been better since now we have to worry about someone stepping on it while getting into the boat. Well it’s been 7 months and we haven’t heard from them since their follow up in February asking how our experience was. We reminded them of our issues at that time and and have heard nothing since. Very disappointing after spending so much money with them.

I bought my brand new Yamaha 90hp outboard motor here for a good price. I also got a 3-year warranty where I was able to return a damaged part worth over 800 bucks and get a brand new replacement for FREE. I have to admit that the guys here are super outstanding in their professional services.

Never usually leave reviews. Just wanted to write about John in the service department. His customer service was great. He contacted me several times about bringing my boat in too fix a motor situation that was going on for quite some time. Told me there would be a 1-2 day turn around to complete the work. Called me the very next day saying the work had been completed , and even called a few days later just to check up and make sure everything was good.

These guys really helped me out. I purchased a boat from another dealer on the island who went out of business or didn't need mine anymore as the owner never returned my call when it was time for servicing. David took my pontoon in for servicing and tube repainting, gave me an accurate estimate up front, checked everything out and my boat is running great. The folks at the service department were responsive to all my questions and concerns in a timely manner. Not cheap but then owning a boat isn't....just grateful to find competent and willing people. I love my 18' Tern Cat, I have taken it around Kaena Pt, been out over 15 miles in 10-15 ft seas (Not recommended got caught in a quick moving storm) and she handles like a dream. This boat is a little animal! Dave the Service Manager is awesome. He always has a smile and makes me feel like a valued customer. He is someone who truly cares about a customers concern, really tries to put his customers first. Thank you Dave!

I bought my 1st sailing Kayak at Windward boats and they were very helpful teaching me how to use it. One year later I upgraded to a Hobie Tandem Adventure Island ailing kayak and throughout my ownership, Windward Boats did an outstanding job supporting my desire to fish from the sailing kayak. Stan (Kayaks) set me up with experienced sailors and clubs in the area. Windward parts department has all sorts of hidden treasures if you explore around. Of course - they stock all good quality safety gear, VHF radios, GPS, sounders, etc

Recently, I purchased a brand new 21 foot Boston Whaler to use as both recreation and serious off-shore fishing. The sales staff (Randy) spent considerable time with me to ensure that I was getting the "right" boat for me. Once selected, Rita (service manager) made sure that the boat was in perfect condition for delivery. It was delivered to me in a very clean and operational condition. Nothing like new boat smell to start the day off right. I highly recommend Windward Boats for all your boating needs, they have experts on staff covering everything from the smallest kayak to the largest ocean capable craft and all the goodies to keep every boater going.

They take boater safety seriously and I commend the service department for discovering and correcting a minor issue during the standard 20 hour check that went unnoticed by myself. The owner (Joe) contacted me personally to ensure I was satisfied with corrective actions. He conducts routine meetings with all departments to discuss current issues and to implement proactive customer interface - not reactive like the service one could expect from a less professional organization.

After several outings, I wanted to make a minor adjustment to the trailer set-up due to the steep boat ramp in my neighborhood. Dean (parts) was very helpful. Not only did he set up my trailer perfectly, he also gave me valuable tips for maintaining my surge brakes in good operating order for years to come. I suggest all customers take the time to get to know the staff...they have DECADES of valuable experience and are willing to share it. No way you could ever google that kind of useful information on your own....

I could go on for pages...but I have to get off the computer and go boating....

Fantastic service. Had work done on my yamaha and was impressed with how quick and professional the mechanic JJ was. If you have an issue with your outboard and you want it fixed right the first time, take it to Windward Boats.
