Our company pulled several gates for repair and repainting in our shop, but since we do not paint, we outsourced this part. After the repairs were completed they were sent over to be painted. Do we need to have them sandblasted we inquired, before dropping them off to be painted ? No, this is not problem we can powder coated over top no problem we were assured. The gates come back and less than 2 months are starting to rust and the paint is popping up in place's. Now we are told, by Rick the manager, well you can go out with a wire brush and some paint and fix it yourself. It would be cheaper than paying us to do them again. We were not even offered any type of resolution to the poor quality prep work they did prior to painting them. They just told us we will not redo them and that is how their program works.
Our new program is we will not take anything else to "Ray Paul Coatings" if this is how they treat their customer and fail to stand behind their work. We have had other issue's in the past on other projects with products getting damaged, poor painting finishes and they say well it must of come in that way or hmm how did that happen. No real concern for the customer. We gave them multiple tries but keep getting same poor finishes. We recommend to goes elsewhere as price is not always the ONLY factor. Have to give at least 1 star for review.

Super happy with the service and quality of Ray Paul. I'm just an individual looking for a couple items to be coated, but they treated me as though I was their only customer. I'm super happy with how my riding mower deck turned out. It looks great in the Vulcan black. I spent under $100 to save the deck from rust and having to buy a new deck for $1200. The powder coating on the bottom side doesn't allow the grass clippings to stick very long. They clump up a little and fall off. It's not just maintaining the deck, it's an improvement. For my second deck, I think I will try the plascoat and see which I like better, since I will be recoating these every few as long as my mower engines keep running, to protect my investment.
