Had to deliver a load of trailer parts here, and the guard just tells me to pull around back and theyll unload me. I pull around and there is no one around so i walk back to the gaurd shack to confirm someone knows im here. They said to go inside to the office. I informed him there is not an office back there. They said “oh, ive never really been back there, i just assumed it was there.” Turns out the shipping/receiving office is in a completely different building. Then everyone just went home (shift change) and i talked to a yard dog who said itll be several hours before they unload me. Nice…

You can come anytime of day to deliver here and you will be waiting at least hour and a half. People are nice once they acknowledge you.

I’ll give them 3 stars- not much room to work with in the dock area, although they will offer to assist with spotting you if it’s needed so you won’t hit anything while backing- lots of junk all over the place where you back into the dock. I arrived first thing in the morning, docked right away, wasn’t too awful long before they started unloading my trailer. Anticipate a couple hours to be unloaded and on your way. I took one star of the review due to the fact that there are no restrooms available for truck drivers. I took one star because they don’t allow overnight parking either. Over all though, not a bad experience here.

Had a 11 am appointment. Pulled me straight into a dock as soon as I entered the gate and 2 min after backing into the dock, I am getting unloaded. Not even here 20 minutes. In & out. Great job. I would definitely come back. Great job UTM.

Worst place i ever worked there welders are not welding quality welds and they all halfway finnish the job they hire anyone that walks in and fills out an application. Also they are all using tobacco products in the plant . very unprofessional place to work verry surprised someone hasnt been killed out there yet. And there office is always late on paying people.

Picked up new trailer from here. Tire Maxx system gauge light was not working as well as all 4 top marker lights. Later on utility service in Chicago find out that whole harness is missing for tire maxx system, and top marker light harness got screwed up to the roof causing shortage. Thats the build quality of UTILITY. (got green inspection tag on it). DO NOT RECOMMEND TO ANYONE !!!

The most unorganized place Ive ever bed to. No system in place to find a needle in a haystack trailer. Just go out on the lot of 5,000 trailers and look for your 2 inch trailer number in the dark. And whatever you do...dont ask the bleach blonde guard who assures you that she's the supervisor of the whole outfit. This was a ridiculous waste of time.

The people in receiving that talk to are ok. They take entirely too long for unloading trucks. If they say they start at 7 am a driver will be ready and expecting someone very soon after that to come unload him/her.
